Do you want to be told what you want to hear?

You approach a wealth manager, but you find they are too condescending. They are more interested in themselves than you? It’s like you are not good enough? What do you do?

No matter how smart or good they are, the chances of you giving them your money are zero. Yes, zero. Zero.

Do you want to be told you are smart? Open-minded? Positive? Generous? Kind? How many superlatives do you want and or need?

Now ring a wealth manager and what if they tell you what you want to hear… they tell you you are smart, open-minded, positive, generous, kind… and in exchange, you can give them your money to manage. What are the chances you’ll give them your money? It’s certainly not zero. We all want to be made to feel important.

Of course, it’s said with irony, tongue in cheek, but you need to be careful who you employ to look after your money. In an ideal world, before you employ a wealth manager, you employ someone to do the due diligence for you.  To check out if they are as good as they say they are.  To know what questions to ask to make sure they are the right wealth managers for you and your family. Thankfully, we can do just that for you.  And if you are already using wealth managers, you need to check out if they are delivering the way they said when you first invested.
